Laurence Harding and
FPG Project Space and Elmer Square
Photographer Laurence Harding and digital artist and printmaker Damien Robinson will refer to Bridget Smith’s exhibition, ‘If You Want To Talk About Light You Have To Talk About Waves’. You will learn the process of making a cyanotype using light sensative sheets to capture object shapes. Have fun in the sunshine (weather permitting) and create your own family blueprint.
The Big Screen, Elmer Square
Zarah Hussain’s project will be shown for the first time on the public screen during FAD with screenings continuing throughout the summer. Hussain’s interactive animation explores the demographic changes in Southend, based on information gathered from residents and visitors to the town in an on-line questionnaire about immigration. Constructed as a mathematical, geometric pattern, watch how your data input transforms the image on the big screen.
