For this event, David Mabb will be discussing his Focal Point Gallery exhibition with the London-based writer, musician, broadcaster and curator Morgan Quaintance.

About the Speakers:

David Mabb (b.1959) lives and works in London. His work has been exhibited at institutions including the William Morris Gallery, London (2013); Tate Britain, London (2012); Delaware Centre for the Contemporary Arts, Wilmington (2010); The Bluecoat, Liverpool (2009); Contemporary Art Centre, Vilnius (2006); Art Gallery of Windsor, Ontario (2003) and Oakville Galleries, Ontario (2000). He curated “Ministering to the Swinish Luxury of the Rich” at the Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester (2004) and Utopia Ltd. (with Mary-Ruth Walsh) at Wexford Art Centre and the Highlanes Gallery, Drogheda (2011).



Morgan Quaintance is a regular contributor to Art Agenda, Art Monthly, Art Review, Frieze, Rhizome.org and other curatorial websites and blogs. He is the producer of Studio Visit, a weekly radio show broadcast on London’s Resonance 104.4FM, featuring international contemporary artists, musicians, curators and graphic novelists as guests. As a presenter he works with the BBC’s flagship arts programme, the Culture Show.
