Train: First Great Eastern from London Liverpool Street to Southend
Victoria Station and C2C from London Fenchurch Street to Southend
Central Station. The gallery is 5 minutes walk from Southend Victoria
and 15 minutes from Southend Central Stations.
Buses: All buses to Victoria Avenue, Queensway and Southend Town
Centre.
Parking: There is a public car park adjacent to Southend Central
Library.
Disabled Parking: There are five disabled parking spaces to the
side of the library building with a level accessible route to the
main entrance of the building. These are reached by driving past
the main public car park and through the staff parking area at
the rear of the building.

The gallery is accessible from the ground floor of Southend Central
Library via a public lift. Signage for the gallery is adequate,
but staff at the library front desk will be happy to give you directions
or assistance. There is a toilet for wheelchair users on the ground
floor of the building. This is located in a staff area and is kept
locked when not in use for security reasons. A key is obtainable
from the library front desk. A wheelchair is available for use
in the building and is also kept at the front desk. There is a
café on the first floor of the building which is wheelchair
accessible. If you inform us of any special needs when booking
a place on an event or workshop we will endeavour to make sure
your needs are met.
