DADS TOO - SURE START GROUP 2007

In April 2006 exhibiting artist, Gayle Chong Kwan worked with local Sure Start brunch club, Dads Too, to help dads and their young ones to create food sculptures for birds, memory tasting sessions and food worlds in response to her work.

VISION ON: NEW VIDEO WORKS

1-31 MAY 2007

Throughout Museums and Galleries Month Focal Point Gallery we screened a selection of recent video and animation education projects on monitors around Southend Central Library. The works include the 'Lancaster Diary Room' created with Students from Lancaster School, working with Judy Payne, during Hellen van Meene's exhibition 'New Works', and 'Spooked' created by young people, working with Chris Matthews, during the exhibition 'Paranoia'.
